According to the PCB circuit layers Category: PCB printed circuit board into a single panel, double-sided and Multilayer PCB. Common Multilayer PCB laminates usually 4 or 6 layers, up to tens of layers of complex Multilayer PCB.
The division of PCB board has the following three main types:
Single Side Board
Single - SidedBoards are used on the most basic PCB, parts on one side, the conductor is focused on the other side.Because the wires in only one side, so this kind of PCB is called single side board.There are many restrictionsin the design of lines, (Because only one side, wiring between cannot cross and must be around the path alone)So only use this circuit board in the early PCB time .Vias are on the PCB, or coated with metal holes.It can be connected to both sides of the wire.
Double Side Board
Double-SidedBoards have wires on both side.For two wires together to use, you must have appropriate circuit connection between two sides.This circuit is called the "bridge" between the guide hole (via).The area of the double panel a times larger than a single side board, double panel solved wiring of the difficulty in the single panel (can be conduction through the hole to the other side), it is more suitable for use in more complex circuitthan a singleside board.
Multi-Layer Board
In order to increase the area of the wiring, a multilayer wiring board using the more single or double wiring board.With a double side board for
inner layer、two single side board for outer layer or two single side board for inner layer、a double side board for outer layer to make up a multi-layer board,through the positioning system and insulation bonding material alternately,and conductive graphics interconnection according to design requirements,then it becomes a 4 layers、6 layers PCB,it is
also called multi-layer board.
Layers of the board does not mean there are same independent wiring layer.
Under special circumstances will add empty layer to control board
thickness,usuallythe layer number of is even,contains the top and bottom layer.Most of the motherboard is 4 to 8 layer structure,but in
technical theory it can be nearly 100 layers .Most large supercomputers used quite layers of the motherboard,but because this kind of computer can already be replaced with many ordinary computer cluster,super multi-layer board has not been used gradually.Because each layer of PCB are closely combined, generally not too easy to see the actual number,But if you look closely at the motherboard,it still can be seen. |
